¡DPioneering in new concepts ¡V Promoting media literacy |
With the evolved communication technology today, the mass media have become the major sources of information and entertainment for all of us. The influence has now even surpassed those from the family and schools. Indeed, the use of media has changed the way people think and act. In 1998, FCEF started to promote media literacy as a pioneer in Taiwan.
The radio broadcast ¡§Let¡¦s Chat about Media¡¨ has been produced by the foundation for years. It is hosted by the well-known writer Jo-chuan Wu, allowing audiences to exchange their ideas about everything happened in their daily lives, and interact with the host in a lively way. FCEF¡¦s Executive Director Irene Chen also discusses and shares parent-and-child relationship, news phenomenon, and the latest tendency in the every Thursday show. |
